Welcome to SMOKD, a smoking cessation support app operated by Nexify Labs LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

This policy applies to all users of the SMOKD app, whether signed in or using the app anonymously.

Important: SMOKD is not intended for individuals under 18. The app is not a medical device or a substitute for professional treatment.

• Account info via Google or Apple login (optional)

• Streaks, timer resets, and challenge progress
• Device type and OS version

You can use SMOKD without logging in, but some features may be limited.

3. Use of AI and Third-Party Services

SMOKD uses OpenAI for AI chat support and other third-party tools to deliver the experience.

• OpenAI may process your chat inputs to generate responses
• Firebase is used for authentication, analytics, and database
• Mixpanel is used to understand feature usage
• Superwall is used for subscription management

• Your inputs may be securely sent to AI services
• We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising

4. How We Use Your Data

• Track progress and personalize your experience

6. How heart and lung health improvements are determined?

Our app does not collect or access any personal health data (such as heart rate or lung tests). The displayed percentages are educational estimates calculated locally on the device using only the user’s self-entered quit date.

These estimates follow publicly available medical research from trusted sources such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and American Heart Association (AHA). The app maps the time since quitting to well-documented recovery milestones (e.g., improved circulation after 2 weeks, reduced heart disease risk after 1 year) and interpolates between them for a smooth percentage increase.

7. How We Protect Your Data

• Data encryption in transit and at rest
• Use of secure infrastructure (e.g., Firebase)
• Access limited to authorized team members

While we follow industry best practices, no platform is 100% secure. Use at your own discretion.
